Happy Navaratri. May the upcoming festival season bring immense joy & happiness to everyone.

This mail is to remind one and all to give their entries for the Annual Table Tennis & Badminton Tournament being organized by Indian Social Club, Sohar on Friday, 29th September 2017 in the Indoor stadium of Sohar Sports Complex from 8 a.m. The event is open to all whether members or non-members and for all nationalities.

Entry fee per person is R.O 1/- for member and R.O 3/- for non-member adult. The categories tentatively planned are Gents, Ladies, Veterans (above 40 years), Doubles (Ladies / Gents), Children upto 14 years (Girls / Boys) and children 14-18 years (Girls / Boys). Minimum 6-8 entries per event for it to happen and categories may be merged / created if entries are less or more.

As like last year, this year also ISC, Sohar has reduced the entry fee for all school going children to R.O 1/- in each event to encourage participation.

Please submit your entries in any of the categories after 6 p.m to any Executive Committee member or specifically to Mr. Asim Mohd. 99818399, Mr. Ravindran 95043265 or to Mr. Sriram 99381284 latest by Thursday 28th September' 17. Entries are limited in each category so please register yourself on first come first serve basis.

Arrangements for snacks, lunch and refreshments are being made at the venue. We are looking for a title sponsor for the event. We look forward to corporates to help us in this regard and for the same please contact me at the earliest. The information about the above may please be circulated for wider information. The Annual Blood donation camp on Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary will be held on Friday, 6th Oct. 2017. The other upcoming events are Annual Quiz (Oct./Nov.), Art Competition (17th Nov.), Antakhshari event (24th Nov.), Corporate Cricket Cup (8th Dec.), Colours of India (15th Dec.). If any suggestion is there for further events please contact us with detailed plans and we will include that also in our schedule.
