Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Executive Committee of Indian Social Club, Sohar I wish you all Eid Mubarak. On this auspicious day may Allah the Almighty bestow you and you family with his choicest blessings. I also wish to extend warm greetings to all for the upcoming Onam celebrations.  

Through this email I wish to inform all that Indian Social Club, Sohar is organizing a drama based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi, titled “Yugpurush” on Saturday, 9^th September 2017 from 6.30 pm in Sohar University. This drama is being enacted by an invited 15 member group of artistes from India. The award winning play showing the transformation of “Mohandas to Mahatma” is based on the interactions between Mahatma Gandhi and Srimad Rajchandraji. Entry to the play will be free and open to all nationalities including of course Omanis. A chance to view a drama is a rarity in Sohar. I hope lots of you turn up to watch and encourage us and the actors from India. It will of course be educative for school going children as it will give them a chance to know more about the Mahatma. A poster is attached for all to go through and pass onto friends for wider information.
